Crazy

Ridin' down the highway in my car.

Drivin' seventy-five so it ain't too far.

Smirking politician preachin' on my radio,

Tellin' me what he'll do for me, as if I didn't know.

It's drivin' me Crazy ...

Makin' empty promises, just to get on top.

Do as he says, not as he does.  When's it gonna stop?

It's drivin' me Crazy.

I think I'm goin' nuts.

What I got is good, but baby,

Good ain't good enough.

Crazy.

It's not what you know, but who.

No money in your hand

And nobody gives a damn.

So what am I supposed to do?

Oprah talks to me on my tv.

Sharing Doctor Phil's philosophy.

Gotta keep my head, gotta play it cool.

Don't want no tv expert callin' me dysfunctional.

I don't know how I survived, before I bought his book.

For only nineteen, ninety-five, my soul gets off the hook.

I got a doctor on the internet selling me pills.

And another credit card payin' the bills.

I'm overstimulated, caffienated, have another cup.

Opinionated, saturated, gotta tear it up.

This modern world's the pinnacle of lust, and greed and hate.

How did I get so cynical?  I pray it's not too late.
